The pianist who ended up at Japan’s Chubu airport is ending up at a different hospital in Japan.
The 44-year-old pianist, named Igor Levit, is in critical condition in hospital after being injured in a plane crash that occurred Friday, according to the Chubuzu airport.
He was on his way to the airport to meet friends, the airport said.
It wasn’t immediately clear how he got there.
He told police he didn’t know how he was hurt, but was afraid to leave the aircraft after being asked to stop by an airport security officer.
The crash took place near the Japanese town of Nakajima, where a plane crashed into a house in May.
