As we all know by now, the ‘Walt Disney World’ musical Frozen has been a huge success since its debut on Broadway last October, but we all now know how it’s really changing how we listen to music.
Now, Disney Music has released a new album, and it’s shaping up to be an amazing release for both the company and the artists that have made it.
We spoke to the producer of the album, Alfred Cortot, who says Frozen is changing how people listen to the music they love.
Cortot told TechCrunch that the album’s success is the result of the creative, innovative and diverse approach that Disney Music took.
“The songwriting is all new and the music is completely original,” he explained.
“You can really see that from the music, it’s a fusion of all different styles.
It’s not just one single style.
It feels very fresh and new to the genre.”
Frozen is the latest Disney release to be released on a digital platform, and Cortot says that it’s one of the first albums to do so.
He said that Frozen is a great example of how a digital release can give a platform a leg up over a physical release.
“There’s a lot of things that you can do with digital music, especially with digital distribution,” Cortot explained.
“[I] think the more digital music gets out there, the more people will be able to hear it.
So it’s very important that you’re using digital music to make a great product.”
Frosted windows, Frozen-themed coffee, and new song ‘I’m A Song’ are just a few of the new songs that are being released on Frozen.
Cortots music, which includes collaborations with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rihanna, and more, is already making its way onto digital platforms.
Cortot also revealed that he plans to work on more Disney music, and said that his next project will be the live-action film adaptation of the Disney animated film Frozen.
